ROLE PURPOSE/ SUMMARY
Pobal administers and manages Government and EU funding to address
disadvantage and support social inclusion. This role is based in the
Monitoring, Analysis & Outcomes Unit, which is responsible for
collecting data on outputs and outcomes of programmes, its analysis,
producing reports for the funders, carrying research and analysis and
providing insights for programme design and policy development.
The post holder will lead a team of staff within this unit, who?s
job is to monitor and report on Social Inclusion and Equality (SIE),
Inclusive Employment and Enterprise (IEE) and Health programmes
administered by Pobal. They will oversee and ensure the high quality
completion of Pobal?s monitoring, reporting and strategic data
related initiatives across these programmes, working closely with the
operational teams delivering these programmes and external
stakeholders, such as Government departments and funded organisations.
Part of the role will also include the completion of two research
projects on behalf of the Department of Rural and Community
Development (DRCD): Community and Voluntary Sector Skills and Training
Audit and National Volunteer Strategy research projects.
